Creating Labels

There are two ways you can create labels. The first way is to create them as you need them.

Method 1

Check the box next to the email you would like to label, once you have checked at least one email additional buttons are available on the toolbar:

Click the down arrow next to the "label" button (1) 
Create a new label. (2) 


You can name the label whatever is meaningful for you. 

Please note: Nested labels are a similar concept as "sub-folders" it is up to you whether or not you create nested labels.


Method 2

  1. Go to the Settings Wheel
  2. Choose Settings from the drop down
  3. Click on Labels
  4. You will need to scroll down past the system labels until you find the Create new label button
